Using Duvets for protection
im using an old 13.5 tog duvet to cover my coldframe and its holding out, all plants fine, anybody else using one for frost and ice protection, do they work for you?

That should work fine provided you avoid it getting wet, or it might halve the tog rating

Yes, duvets work well. A good idea to cover with a tarp as well if you have one as they are a pig to dry this time of year when you are finished using it.

I have trouble with my duvet...
...It won't let me out of bed...

They just don't understand.old pillows and sleeping bags,the neighbours think I've lost the plot!

My mini greenhouse is covered in old towels & has old pillows in bin bags on the roof

Good idea - Kick the wife out of bed and cuddle up with something more exotic..
