HI all, its been a whle since i was on here blimey anyway i am starting a little cacti collection, and bought the following at a local GC, they were impulse buys as i just liked ther appearance. Both are just labelled Mammilaria, but is it poss for any of the cacti team to tell me what species of mammilaria they are, just curious so i know what kind of specimen they will turn into, clumping, globular/spherical etc etc
The 1st to pics are the same one, just different views
Regards
Phil

Neat cacti. I can't I.D them for you but can say that if you catch yourself on the top one it often pulls part of the cacti off with the hooks leaving a small gap. They flower quite frequently as well.

Do you know if this would result in any offsets forming kris?
The last pic 'might' be Mammillaria Marksiana' after trolling round the net, but not 100%?

Hi Phil,
Feel free to post these pictures on the British Cactus and Succulent Society Forum, they even have a helpdesk section where you don't need to be a member to post threads.
