The one doing ok outdoors was picked up cheap, no label at a cactus auction in Hudderfield. It's probably Nevadensis although the terminal spine could be a bit longer than typical Nevadensis. I have a couple of Nevadensis now 3 years old which are still tiny 3 inch plants. Plenty more coming up in the propogator too. The latest batch came from Mesa garden with provenence data and impressive hardiness claims but they are several years away from being anything special.
