Yes it is. I got one off an old lady...I never knew it flowered, it died on me.

Best time for potting on these house-plants would be spring.
As for pruning into a single stemmed plant, well that's entirely up to you, but you could take cuttings from it at the same time as re-potting if you want to experiment, it's quite easy to do, even the leaves root if left on the soil surface when the conditions are right.

I quite like the look of the multi trunk. Finally got myself another after a few years without. That was only started from a leaf last xmas, now its 9in high and starting to branch.....totally top heavy BTW so I think its better in a clay pot
