Hi, I have been given a small offset and was wondering if anyone had one planted in the uk? Amrulee are suggesting that it handles cold and wet winters well, but I am sceptical.

Thanks, paul

I've never risked it. It's very slow, refuses to pup and doesn't seem to get any bigger year by year. Until I grow a second one it'will remain a potted item for me.

Thanks Greville, was going to keep it potted until next year anyway, hoping that it will pup by then.

none of the angustifolias or vivipera as now known, have any frost tolerance at all.therefore,i would keep the marginata indoors except for the safe months icon_thumleft
