Looks like frost/winter wet damage. Growing point seems ok.
I'm not an advocate of cutting leaves off just for aesthetics, but I think on that one I'd make an exception

Yes, I agree. Winter damage. Mine have that, soon trimmed-off if required. It will grow back okay.

I've seen a lot like this this spring. It's not the cold that has caused it but more likely the wet summer and wet winter we had combined with the cool conditions.
