Hi Katie... first question is are you going to plant it out or be kept in in a pot? Last Winter was a problem for mine with heavy wet snow in December breaking many leaves and excess moisture thereafter causing fungal issues. There are many diverse populations of Yucca rostrata and I picked one that hates snow and wet for six months of the year :lol:

Oh, dear me Andy, that’s not great news... :lol:

It’s staying in a pot where it is.

I water it when it feels dry, it’s new compost so good for a few weeks yet for feed.

We don’t get snow every year thank goodness and last winter was unusually long and cold..

If it survives the winter this year ok, if it does’t then I buy no more Yuccas... :mrgreen:
