Yes I got about ten seedlings of aloifolia sown in the spring. I reckon it's the safe bet because they have proven to be hardy elsewhere and coming from southeast corner of the states they are used to higher rainfalls, especially in winter. They do look nice, the only downfall is that they have a tendency to topple over when reaching two meters plus.

I'm optimisitc about jaliscensis and mixtecana, but realisticly they'll probably rot due to the high humidity in winter...

BTW, are you sure those are aloifolia Stephen? I've seen those pictures before, but if I didn't know any better I would have thought it was guatemalensis. But then again they don't seem to have that elephant foot look at the trunk base...
