How big was the corm, Kris?
My six corms varied considerably in size. As a general rule the larger the corm the bigger the leaves, but no sign of any .flowers yet

I can't really remember. Perhaps as big as a 50p coin?
Re: Caladiums - My new obsession if I can get them to grow.
A 50p coin? Interesting, that was probably the size of my smallest one. The largest had to go straight into a six inch pot as it was nearly five inches across.
Re: Caladiums - My new obsession if I can get them to grow.
Mine were similar size to YK's, certainly nothing like "several inches across".

Mine are in 3 inch pots and these were plenty big enough.

Caladium 'White Christmas' is now starting to flower. This was from a big tuber, so no surprise here. Two are quite big and full now so they have been brought into the living room against a sunny window.
To keep Sand happy they are standing on a cabinet with a glass top so any naughty drips can't stain the woodwork This naughty drip was delighted when some fleeting glimpses of the sun backlit the leaves. Hope I can get a pic.

After nearly three months...as promised
Transferred discreetly to the bedroom window to catch the sun. No visible drips on the plants but naughtily placed on the wooden window sill to capture the moment. Front and backlit, thanks to sun and flash.

Worth growing these alone for the sun to backlight them
