If I told you how many seedlings and hybrid seedlings were there you wouldn't believe me. I looked at a jar of I would say 10K thai seeds just the other day. if you get some they will germ in about 7 days pot them and keep it going. separating the seed from the berry is the tricky part..good luck. Mine has just put out a new leaf a bit over 3ft so I am hopeing for somthing stellar on the next one.

Do pups stop the main plant growing faster\bigger......and the same question for Alocasia's.....as I would like one BIG plant.

pups wont slow it down any as long as it has the food to let everyone eat. I would seperate them as soon as they had real roots and let them get going on there own though so winter will be easier. If you leave them on they will feed off the mother corm during winter but if you lose it you lose all.

Ive only messed with the thai giant..plant delights has some form of gigante they sell but I have never seen one in person but from all i have read and pics I have seen they look similar to mammoth in leaf structure and the way they are held..thai giant looks like no other colocasia

My Colocasia gigantea Thai Giant comes from Plant delight nursery. I have visited that nursery last May.
