they have a habit of self pollinating so you might get lucky Dave.

That would be a bonus Mike :D I think Brian Williams has a greenhouse full of seedlings, but I'm not sure how you can store seed over winter, as they lose viability very quickly.

If I told you how many seedlings and hybrid seedlings were there you wouldn't believe me. I looked at a jar of I would say 10K thai seeds just the other day. if you get some they will germ in about 7 days pot them and keep it going. separating the seed from the berry is the tricky part..good luck. Mine has just put out a new leaf a bit over 3ft so I am hopeing for somthing stellar on the next one.

pups wont slow it down any as long as it has the food to let everyone eat. I would seperate them as soon as they had real roots and let them get going on there own though so winter will be easier. If you leave them on they will feed off the mother corm during winter but if you lose it you lose all.

Is it a Thai Giant you have Coddy? as the standard gigantea pups like crazy, but my Thai's aren't.

My Colocasia gigantea Thai Giant comes from Plant delight nursery. I have visited that nursery last May. Very nice place!
