Does anyone know where i can get a colocasia Bikini from? I have looked but all im finding is sites for the USA. But i know there is a lot of hassle with USA imports to the UK.

The only way you are going to fine this soon is if someone brings one back from the US. The cost of importing is too high for one plant, and most US sellers won't ship to UK as Defra delays things until they are dead.

Personally it doesn't do anything for me. I prefer the flatter leaf types.

I don't know if this is even still a possibility but some labs in the US would send specially sealed stage three (I think) plantlets to overseas customers. I believe this use to bypass the need for a phyto but again this was a long time ago.

AG3 released bikinitini or bikini tini earlier this year. Phytos from the US are about $50 now, and a pain to acquire. The coffee cups variety originated in Thailand and could probably be imported for much less. I would have thought it would have made the rounds to the UK already.

yeah it is such a shame dave as these would do well in the uk as well from what i have been reading on the net the past couple of days.

Tim. if these have made the rounds to the uk already then that is a huge bonus but i am really struggling to find one.

It does bring a couple up, i think its the bikini bit that will do that, type in colocasia bikini for sale in the uk and it does bring some sites up but mainly abroad, like the USA. and i think australia was one.

This post is pretty old, but still there's no source for bikini tini in Europe, is there?
If so, I'd be very happy to know the source or maybe get a young plant in exchange to some other nice plant (sure I'll find some reasonable exchange subject).

Teacups been out of stock for a couple of years from Simon.
Same goes for urban jungle who used to sell it aswell.
I used to hae it, but think it died during its first winter may e second. Either way I don't remember it getting very big so I would t personally bother with it again. There's much nicer plants out there. Black coral to name but one

Teacup didn't seem to be that hardy as I lost mine the first winter as well, quick to go into dormancy then rot.

Teacup is nothing like Tini Bikini, apart from the shape of the leaves. A bit like comparing Colocasia gaoligongensis with Mammoth as both have the same shape leaves.

When Googling try putting Colocasia Bikini in speech marks.
