last year i wintered mine (Xanthosoma violaceum) in 25c and kept it in growth, though the leaves got smaller and smaller as winter went on. that one rotted out with the wet spring and i have lots of smaller pups this year. I have read that they over winter well in a frost free place with no light such as a loft or a basement if watered sparsely every month or so in pitch dark
what are your experiences of whats worked and whats killed it? could do with a page on this in the aroids section Dave B, like you're not busy enough
