The colouring of the petioles on yours Greville is nothing like mammoth. Below are my Mammoth both 'as grown' and 'cleaned'.

Thanks, Dave. Eliminated from my enquiries...... Or should that be "Mammoth 'trunkates' enquiry?" :wink:

the mammoth seems to always have the pink roots and tuber color..jacks giant does not.. I will take a closer look at yours when I get home to figure it out
