Is this the start of a flower

As the title says. As you can see in the picture there is a strange style leaf or flower but also another growing just behind it.

Alocasia produce leaves like this when going dormant. It's certainly doing something different. It could make a flower next, not certain, sorry.

Alocasia grow small to tiny leaves when they enter the flowering cycle, it can be a real pain. The rolled up leaf looks like the signs of flowering to come. The second structure looks like a flag leaf so flowers will emerge from that leaf axil.

from the pic it looks like A x calidora, so a white version of this
