I'm sure I read somewhere on the aroidia site that some are speckled. Alos they maybe totally green when they get bigger as the specking could just show more on thin young plants.
I'll try and read a bit more about them.

Thanks for that Steve icon_thumleft Clears up any doubts.
I prefer the speckled stem version to the plain.

Just goes to show how many hundreds of types are out there icon_scratch

I now have one 4 years later :lol: , and by all accounts they are proving pretty tough, and growing well in cool weather. I've only had mine this summer but has grown from a small pup to a reasonable sized plant. SteveW has them dotted all over his garden in Kent, and says they are one of his best growers :) Apparently they grow BIG, at least as big as x calidora icon_thumright I'll see what I can do :wink:
