Helpful pics, Dave.

It seems my plant might have been taken from a large specimen that was cut up to make a number of new plants. The stem would have been very thick and the cormlet holding the growing point looks big enough to have been starting a branch.

After a week in its new home it looks healthy enough.

I'll try and produce some helpful pics of my own

Well the plan was to keep the greenhouse at about +3, with some aroids under the bench beneath a heated prop to give a bit of extra warmth. The plan did not work out and I reckon the aline must have been sitting in a pot not much above freezing at times.
