Excellent reference book Taming the Dragon.
Just received this book and from what I've read all I can say is fantastic! Brilliant information on all aspects of bamboo growing in temperate climates. The passion of the author is clear on every page.
A must for anyone interested in bamboos.

Buy the book! Good descriptions on 100s of different bamboos and lots of personal experience with growing them. Good sections on bamboo structure, how they grow etc.

It has arrived and it has not disappointed!
It is living up to my expectations and I'm burning the midnight oil reading it.
Great book - highly readable and most informative - I feel a bamboo grove coming on!
