Post by Lazlo Woodbine »

Spent a wonderful afternoon at Mike's Stunning garden.... :D

A 6 hour round trip from where we're staying this week in the Wye valley near Ross-on-wye.

Luckily I had my Van thus allowing me to shoe-horn 17 Phyllostachys divisions into the back .... oh and a potted C. Gigantica for good measure.... happy, happy days .... :DD

Good job Laz! I was hoping to visit Mike this summer but couldn't :( , not to worry though as the outlaws are in Bodmin and the SIL in Wadebridge so it's not like I never go that way :DD .

It's pretty impressive Richard ..... I think he currently has around 300 species and varieties - including severeral as yet unnamed Borinda's.

Hi Grub ... :D

I'd been waiting for a couple of years to pay Mike a visit - so I wasn't going to miss the chance this week.

£10 for a small division or £25-30 for pots.

I ordered mine back in March ... out of my original list of 21 - I managed to cram in 17 - plus one for a friend and a potted C.gigantica.
