The winter's been very kind....

Post by Lazlo Woodbine »

Compared to the last 2 years most of my bamboos have sailed through this last mild winter.

'Juzhaigou 1 had minimal leaf burn and my B. papyrifera has kept all of last years new growth. - march 2011 ... she had one surviving leaf!

castillion inversa has suffered about 15-20% leaf burn - but nothing compared to last year.

Kew Beauty also has leaf burn but no culm die-back at all.

Would like to see some pix of that Megurochiku Laz.
I have only seen it once in the flesh, and it was terrific... icon_thumleft
