I have 3 Bamboo, a Phyllostachys Bambusoides Castelloni, a Phyllostachys nigra 'Boryana' and a Borinda papyrifera. They've been in my garden for two years since being purchased from The Rodings Plantery.
The latter two seem to be doing OK having produced new culms this year and the Boryana is now reaching over 3m; the hight of the fence for reference is 6ft.
The Ph. Bam. Castelloni hasn't produced new culms this year. I've trimmed back old culms that don't have leaf growth but am unsure what to do next.
Thoughts ?
Ph. Bam. Castelloni not producing new culms
Re: Ph. Bam. Castelloni not producing new culms
Might be it's just getting settled in, I had a Nigra that did nothing for a couple of years before taking off.

Castillonis is usually quite late to shoot - ... so there's hope yet!
