this warm weather has certainly made for some impressive culm growth rate, size and production on my vivax's.they seem to have caught up with themselves after a slow beginning due to the cool spring.

Better late than never Stephanie! Which species do you find best in the most exposed positions?

jacko, when you have grove's off different boo's example aureo & aureasulcata, do you let them grow into each other or do you try to keep each variety separate?. karl.

karl, they seem happy enough growing together as different species intermingled.but i am noticing some competition for light.the leaf canopy is slowly getting higher up as branches on culms below 7ft dont make it and die off.i pruned up to 5ft on culms a couple of years ago now it is 7ft and rising as they mature.cheers kata. :D
