Well after being very well behaved for about seven years it's now showing its true colours!, it's popping up on other planting areas six/eight feet either side. It's not in a part of garden that it will cause major problems, but i am toying on whether to fetch it out.

Just dig a moat, keeps mine on the straight and narrow!

Hi Charlie.. The moat system for controlling these beast's is a little awkward in this instance but i do use it on other bamboos.. I've now got a nice mixture of vivax & aurea in one bed!.
