bamboos changing colour due to cold

i've just noticed my yellow vivax has turned a beautiful golden yellow during this cold weather.they were a custard yellow before.its created a fantastic colour contrast with the muted winter colours of everything else.

I checked on all my bamboos this morning and you'd never know that temps had been so low, they look totally unphased (so far..!!)

Hey Jacko, do the plants get real Bamboo canes? I thought they were only leaf.

yes you get real canes off them,theyve got loads of uses,you can even eat the shoots in spring they taste lovely fresh.
