The leaves are a different shape to the Green Ventricosums that i have and the p-stem is the same my 'Montbeliardii''s, overall i'm impressed with it looks and growth.Hopefully it will rocket next year icon_thumleft

That's looking great Carl :D
The ones I planted out have put on some serious growth, easily as much as the 'Montbeliardii' pup that wasplanted out at the same time
I'll put a couple of pics on facebook of mine

No 10ft Monster here, as it was a bit too late in the season to plant them out. They are still in the 3ltr pots so have been held back, but they will be going out in the ground next spring

Carl, seaweed extract is a growth enhancer, not a feed, so it enables the plant to take up better the other feed you give it.

Kris, it still looks like an Hiniba to me. The leaves are less arching than standard ventricosum, and on the whole it is a more shuttle cock shape. Standard ventricosum, has a roller and one leaf upright with all the others starting to arch
Best regards
Dave

I'm not disputing that its not an Hiniba but it's less upright than a similar aged 'Montbeliardii'?
I'll have a look at the photos again and your description.

I'll post an updated pic of mine this week.
