man you guys have to get an early start getting them in and are SOO late getting them back out. IDK if I could stand to grow in the UK.
Re: Show us your maurelii's
that does seem early, shouldn't get a frost until the end of october

Re: Show us your maurelii's
The reasons for digging up early are not frost or weather related. I'm not going into any details at the moment but i am getting shot of all the plants that i have bought over the last 4 years.

Re: Show us your maurelii's
Mine stay out until winter arrives, or as close as I dare, to it. Maurelii and 'Montbeliardii' were dug out on 3rd December last year.
Here is Maurelii and here Montbeliardii The lowest leaf on the right, fell into the Zantedeschia in the storm yesterday

Over wintered dry, lost its twin to the bad spring.
Re: Show us your maurelii's
I will post some pictures of the ones I purchased from Gardeners world live but they are doing well.
Re: Show us your maurelii's
A Seedling in summer after it was wacked by bad weather in spring, I am lucky it survived.
Its been fed four slow release and water. Hopefully next season it will reach new heights.

i've restocked and there coming along nicely, I feed with Doff tomato feed and they react with serious growth. Ill get some pics when I get chance. Im hoping to keep growing over the winter rather than store dry this year, as I lost loads. Not due to the method not working but a winter that didn't end.
