Musa “Orange”

I’m not sure about the true identity of this nana it could be a hybrid aurantiaca/mannii or an unidentified species.
It’s another small plant the p-stem on this one is 30” and its flowering in its second year.

Dave yes it is the unknown from Simon, I’m going to post some pics of the flower on the B.Org and see if we can get a positive ID on this one.
I have a couple more that are a little taller and haven’t flowered yet so perhaps next year for them.
I over wintered 5 in the loft with temps down to 0c. and lost the stems on 2 but it was a long winter, I’m sure if I had brought them out of the loft in Feb they would have all survived… so it’s reasonably cold tolerant for an ornamental nana.

Rob it was bought from Amulree as a pup.

Do you have heat in the winter or isolate a section of it?

Hi Gilian, Would you be interested in swapping a Sanguinea pup for a M.orange pup! I would also send you a M.zaifui pup too. :)
