Hi Guys,

and my seedlings:
in total 14 plants
Musa Sanguinea
Re: Musa Sanguinea
I’m interested to hear more about M. Sanguinea… because it’s a very rare plant in cultivation and not very much is known about it, has it flowered for you, do you grow it under glass or in the garden and how do you over winter it!
Thanks,
Tony
Thanks,
Tony

Tony,
The seeds were collected at the University of Gent, Belgium.
Where that plant originated I don't know.
Kind regards,
Remko.

My rubinea came from Mark Hall several years ago and his original plant came from Nature productsgriphuz wrote:Where did you find rubinea Tony? Interesting species.

it’s an easy nana to grow… pups well and is reasonably cold tolerant I’ve had a corm survive -5c and re-grow again, but every time I get this plant to flowering size it dies before flowering… not sure why that is
