helens hybrid and orinoco

how hardy are helens hybrid and orinoco? ive seen both described as "cool hardy". can they be wrapped up like basjoo?

Not grown Orinoco so can't say, but Helens Hybrid, unprotected, died back to ground level in winter 2007/8, but was killed outright in winter 2008/9. Haven't tried one planted out since, but have a potted one kept frost free :wink:

One of our Dutch friends does well with Helen's Hybrid and I have found this is passibly good for a cool greenhouse. I have Dwarf Orinoco, too, which might be tolerant of brief cold temperatures but is more a heat-lover.
