Yep, my aim was to keep it alive lol......so far so good.
I have fleece jackets etc at the ready, first sign of a frost and they are going back on.

With the mild weather we could have the other problem of early fronds pushing out which are almost certainly going to get hit by frosts or gales.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.

I can adapt my winter protection to cover the top of the fern, so hopefully it will be ok.
