Hello all,

I want to create an Oregon style corner within my garden.

I have a very limited budget.

I am thinking pine trees with ferns and moss.

My question to you would be.

I would like to have some mossy carpeting... sqaure foot here and there....
are there ever green species?
best type for me on a budget?
will it spread itself?

I use Soleirolia soleirolii (also known as mind your own business) as a groundcover in some areas, giving a similar look to moss.
Beware though, it can be rampantly invasive.

mossy saxifrage could do the job
