This is how I will water my Dicksonia antarctica's from now on ALL the time.

What dripper system were you looking at ? I got mine (Kingfisher) from Aldi for under a fiver and it does a great job.The Codfather wrote: was going to buy a big dripper for each Dicksonia antarctica...but it was going to work our pricey....

Need a timer and pressure reducer in order to the legit for hose-ban irrigation, assuming we get another of those in our lifetime!, and probably to be able to use it effectively whilst away on holiday . I was goiing to get this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271042964980? ... 1423.l2649 but you need to hang the bag higher than what you are watering.....but it was this that give me the bottle idea (which is mint)
