Well, Steve Pope's yer man, I guess you've been given the best advice you could possibly get from him Marcin, hopefully it won't just end up as a Bromeliad perch.

Oh yes, he explained me different conditions of Dicksonia antarctica storage, even heating cables case. Hi CL i read on the RHS website not feed a Dicksonia antarctica that has not rooted as it slows down the rooting process.countrylover wrote:Nigel I potted this fern in Spring and it had no roots so it cannot be a problem with too small pot. you should be fine to feed it but feed sparingly throughout its life. The best "food" for it now will be a good free draining rich compost.
