That's the best place for them kata on the windowsill. They are still babies and a frost would at best badly set them back and could kill them. As they grow bigger they get hardier.

Check out Dave's info on Robusta. As he has been there, done it and got the T-shirt.

Thanks very much Mark!

They have been out in summer, repotted and now indoors.

They have really shot up in growth in the last month.

I did have a very quick glance at the Robusta page earlier. I intend reading that tomorrow.

About 18 months San at a guess,

I believe they came from either Ebay (member here) or MH.

They're certainly growing. These are the ones I asked you if to seperate.

Oh I never noticed there were 2 in a pot. I think you need to separate them asap and gently trease the roots apart. That pot size look about right and is convenient for the window sill. Keep them frost free this winter. Keep the soil damp. They will grow better in their own pots. They should romp away next spring.

They will continue to grow nicely kata. I have one about the same size of yours that just popped up in my prop early this year with my canna's i can remember plonking a seed in there but didn't know what it was. thing is i don't really want this one so will probably get rid of it next year. I have 6 robusta's already was 4 till i seperated my multi stem. You will get the first proper leaf next year.

This is my 2 robusta's at present kata, on the right, forget about the 'Montbeliardii' and cycad revoulta. Good growth really for just over a year. What i have noticed on mine are that the stems have thickened up mostly this year and growth up top has slowed a little, where as last year it was top growth.
