seperating palm pups

I have a needle palm I have had for a couple years now the trunk is about12 inchs tall with the leaves going up another foot or so. the plant is very healthy and I noticed today that it has pups or offsets comming off the bottom of it. There is one in each direction so 4 total. is there a way I can go about seperating them or is it best to leave them on there. I am a palm novice and don't want to hurt the tree in any way but I would like a few more palms if I can get them

My thoughts are leave them be, I don't think they fair too well being separated.
