Re: Cordyline Red Star
A week of sub-zero temperatures and a low of -6,5 was too much for my red cordyline. It has turned to mush. It came through last winter and a low of -5 with just minor damage. But we did not have such long periods of freezing weather then.
The green ones looked mostly fine (for now) but could have internal damage from the prolonged freeze. I was expecting them all to have carked it but was surprised to see them in relative good health. I'm now hopeful that they might make it to next year. Hopefully there won't be more nasty cold coming my way this winter!
