in this topic i wil show my germinated Musa/Ensete/Heliconia seeds

My order from rarepalmseeds is arrived last week! Many musa types (100x musa hirta, bauensis, ornata, glaucum, manni, livingstonianum, ventricosum and 2 Heliconia types! And many more..


Update (15/08/13) germinated:

46x Ensete Ventricosum
32x musa balbisania atica black
21x musa itinerans var India
3x musa itinerans var formosana
2x musella orange (rare first seeds from peter heyens) Gekko-enterprice.com
1x musa laterita
1x musa becarri
2x Heliconia bourgaeana (pic bloom below)

Gilian can you post which techniques you use with each species, temp, duration etc?

Id like to see this musella when it comes out, I have heard of red but never orange..didn't know seed was avaliable for any but the yellow either.

Germination info please. Will any of the plants be for sale?
