Seeds brought back from maderia are sprouting what compost is best for echiums?

Wish list - Big Palms or Dicksonia antarctica's but open to anything really.....Cash Waiting !

I really hope I can get them to maturity ,I'm worried they will rot off

Phil, a couple of yeas ago there used to be a couple of these, along with some E.pininana's growing at the foot of the Cliffs pavilion, they used to re-sprout in the ground everywhere, so I don't reckon they need anything too fussy soil-wise to grow in, but they don't do well in pots long term.
