Trachycarpus fortunei and frost
so as i hear that Trachycarpus fortunei is hardy to 15*C. But they can be damaged Easily by radiation frost blow -10*C.

There's a huge difference between damage (e.g. some brown leaf tips) and death.

That's true conifers. A lot of people inter change hardiness with damage. A Dicksonia antarctica will lose all its leaves at -5 but is hardy at this temp.

The Trachycarpus f in my front garden has been subjected to lows of -13c, -19c and -18c over the past three winters. It's still alive and well but each year the older fronds have brown cold damage.
