Dark star is not dark brown its black & it is a new cultivar so would not be one of that size around anyway. Thats why so many of you haven't heard of it.

I hate to say I'm right but i think you should google "cordyline darkstar" there is a good column in www.smgrowers.com type in cordyline,in plant database,and click on cordy aus..darkstar.

Hi Sam, yes it was smaller. I have replaced it with another the same, so this year I'll tie the leaves up and hope that works.
