Had one growing up the side of shed till last year. Two weeks of -8 finished it off. Was doing well until then. Fast .grower

Andy, I was lucky enough to find this locally. Still cost over a tenner 4 years ago, labeled as:
Clianthus puniceus maximus 'Kaka King'

Just some knowledge if anyone wants to know?
Clianthus puniceus 'KAKA BEAK' is named after the native New Zealand bird called the KAKA.
The flower shape resembles that of the birds beak. Image below.
