Hello all,

I want to create an Oregon style corner within my garden.

I have a very limited budget.

I am thinking pine trees with ferns and moss.

My question to you would be.

As im on a budget i will be taking cuttings from wild (council planted) piney looking trees. I have zero knowledge on the wide range of alpine looking plants.
whats the best method for taking cuttings of alpine style trees?

Thank you

Pines don't take from cuttings, you'd need to grow from seeds. Can you collect some cones from them instead?

Post some pics of the trees so as to identify which species of pine, that'll help with what advice to give.
