clerodendrum fragrans var. chinensis

is anyone growing this plant i have heard it can go down to -1 so good for a really sheltered corner or in the alpine house

I have a clerodendrum planted out in my garden, been there for years but not the same as this one, think is Cl.Bungei.
Renowned for suckering but between a large chammy & the fence, it can sucker all it wants, the winters knock it back and then it grows again, pops up flower heads thru the chammy.

Give it a chance I am sure you will not be disapppointed.

i also have a young bungeii in a pot it was given to me along with two trichtomums but unfortunately they died
but the bungeii is growing strong. I might get some more trichtomums next year.
