wasnt sure what section to put this in so if it needs moving go for it .Are there many edible plants for the exotic garden?

You can include colocasia esculenta, ananas, various citrus and the humble nasturtium. You could even say musa cavendish, but good luck getting them to fruit! Maybe fig, olive and dates but I'm really clutching at straws now

Yams are easy and hardy (well some of them!) Dioscorea batatas or cinnamon vine, I grow this with my runner beans

fig trees are the only things which is hard,exotic-y and will likely actually produce fruit that can be eaten from my searching.

If you are including greenhouse growing then you can add Okra and Passiflora Edulis.

Chickpeas, pigeon peas, lablab beans and even runners are all rather exotic

Had a delicious meal with friends yesterday who prepared a 'bake' of Cocoyam (xanthosoma) and egg especially for my wife who needs a gluten and lactose free diet.
