Went into the garden today and bent down to inspect the flowers (I've got two now and a third on the way ) and couldn't help but notice the perfume on these. A beautiful smell and would imagine if there were lots of flowers would fill the air. I didn't even know they were fragrant, so another bonus.
Simon, the noses on my Crinum and Agapanthus both are above ground (Agapanthus in pots as I lost one this Winter in the ground) so maybe that affects the flowering, I'm not sure. I never even realised Crinum were a tad tender until DaveP mentioned it, so never bothered to mulch, but will definitely this Winter, just in case. A year or so ago I had trouble with my Nerines flowering (lack of) and I think it was Ade who suggested I might have planted them too deep.
