Fatsia make great indoor plants, just keep it from drying out and it will be fine inside on a north facing sill.

I have been asking around and apprently Fatsia is hardy here with some mulch..next spring There will be one in the garden, hopefully of the varigated type. where did you get your julia?

mine was in the indoor plant section of a local nursery, might be worth a look. perfectly hardy (here anyway)

Well mine started off being very variegated, its now 95% green , its planted though and will only get a fleece chucked over it if things get really bad.Conifers wrote:as well as being far nicer to look atMr List wrote:the plain green is the most robust

Yes, it'll do fine in a greenhouse (better than outdoors, in most of Brtiain).
