kentia potting mix

house of plants website says to you ericacious compost for these.
is this correct?

also what else should be in the mix?
perlite,sand,grit??

I've also seen MPC recommended as well as J.I. compost 2 and 3 for these icon_scratch

I've grown my Kentias in a 50/50 mix of both and they seem fine

I need to pot mine on as the top growth is too heavy for the tiny pot and it keeps wanting to fall. Mr Brown knows his stuff on these hopefully he can advise.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.

well i couldn't wait any longer so i used
25% sharp sand
25% vermiculite
50% ericacious B%Q compost
an inch of gravel i the bottom of the pot

watered in with a dose of triple strength palmbooster and normal strength palm focus
