I thought folks were supposed to dig up the tubers and store them for winter?

I have some nice dahlias that I grew from seed this year. They are still all in flower and continuing to flower (although the gales have removed half!).

Can I just leave them in ground, let them die down and expect to see them again next spring?

Leave them to blacken by frost (foilage) then dry and store in dry compost or newspaper somewhere frost free.

Mine are also still in flower Bob.

The only thing with double headed flowers is that the flowers wont last as long as a single stemmed flower. This could be the reason why they get sold cheap.
