trex and other plants fleece protection

i see on sites that it is suggested trex should be offered fllece protection to protect stems.

also any other 'normal' plants you are worried about.

how do you protect plants with fleece exactly?
there is lots of info for detailed protection schemes for numerous specific plants but not really any general info for 'normal' plants.

You can throw fleece over anything. It's a matter of priorities I guess. T Rex will be fine in most winters (if not all as mine was fine last winter with no protection) You could stick a coke bottle filled with straw over the growing point?
