I have a twin stem cordy that i planted in march.
It was 5' when planted and has rocketed since.
I know last winter killed all the ones round here, some have resprouted but most are now long gone.
My uncle had a lovely 16'-18' cordy that was about 15 yrs old, it had never been protected but last december killed it outright and it never came back.
So what temps can they laugh at?
Im guessing since my uncle had no problems for 15 yrs that they are hardy in normal winters?
How did other peoples cordys fair before THAT December?
Cordylines and protection.

Established cordies ( green australis) can go down to about -9.
I would tie them up and fleece if more than -5 is forecast. But don't leave tied up for too long as this can encourage rot.
